Redmarley D'Abitot is a village and parish about four miles north-north-east of Newent, in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire. It was part of Worcestershire until 1931, and the second half of its name is thought to come from the Norman sheriff Urse d'Abetot. Fighting took place in its fields during the Civil War in 1644, and Edward Elgar's future wife, Alice Roberts, lived here with her mother.

Today Redmarley has its own primary academy, the Rose and Crown pub, St Bartholomew's Church and a village hall on The Causeway, which hosts a busy calendar of local events. The village is surrounded by farmland and quiet lanes that are popular with walkers and cyclists.
